This is to give you some information on the cost of our services.

How are prices calculated for Lexicon's 4 main services??

Pricing method differs among our 4 key services: translation, interpreting, web consulting, business consulting. Interpreting services are usually calculated by time, translation by quantity of text plus the factors of urgency and degree of expertise needed. Web localisation and other business consulting assignments are priced by the project or by the hour. Whatever the specific case, all quotations are given without obligation before we start work so you can freely compare our prices with others.

Translation prices

Prices will vary according to the language translated, the length/time ratio (last-minute service costs more!) and the degree of sector expertise necessary to meet your requirements. It is very difficult to give standard prices that take into account all these factors so the quickest and easiest thing is to ask for a no-obligation quotation and we will give you all the information necessary to your particular case. Generally speaking our prices are 20-25% lower than those applied in the UK for comparable quality (as an indication, £85/1000 words for the combination of “English into Italian”).
