New technology gives huge potential for online business growth. Lexicon stays ahead of technology changes and is committed to doing so in the future. Our Italian web localization and web marketing team is specialised in Italian website translation, website localization and web positioning. These delicate operations require not only translating into excellent Italian, but full success in these 4 key areas:

To be successful, all four are essential. Let’s look at them in turn
1) Content, style and graphics
We decide on what to actually publish on your site. Although full localization requires a bigger effort and more resources than a straight translation, you may not actually need to have a full-scale localization of your original site. We may therefore recommend starting with a smaller version. The content will provide the information tuned to convert visitors into regular users. A “light-weight site” is often the best solution as it can be implemented quickly and cheaply. Have the weight taken off your mind by leaving definition, design and publishing to Lexicon!
2) Technical standards (scripting etc.)
This stage is integral to Stage 1 and is the technical area in which we optimise everything that will make your site work well for Italian Internet systems. Only a skilled Italian mother-tongue programmer can do this job. You will have the edge on non-Italy-based programmers, by using Lexicon!
3) SEO - websites that “work for you”
No matter how attractive and well-structured your site is, you want people to actually visit it! We recommend working hard on what is called “Search Engine Optimization” (Internet whizzes call it SEO). This is about choosing words and phrases that are noticed by search engines such as Google. It’s also about placing them in your site where they will be considered relevant to your business. Lexicon’s team of specialist mother-tongue translators and copywriters is uniquely placed to provide second-to-none SEO. This high-value service will bring in many new visitors to your site through the Google search engine as they look for something relevant to your product or service. We can measure your site’s “positioning” in the search engine hit lists over time, and aim to achieve a gradual and constant ascent towards the front page. If all goes well, we can even take you to the very top! Please note that this service does not involve paying large sums to search engines – it is about writing and computing skills in Italian.
4) Active post-sales support
By statistically recording visits to your site, we can think about expanding the areas of the site that will bring the best response from the market. Not only, our Italian web marketing support doesn’t stop when your website is online. Our unique teams of Italian translators and copywriters will provide essential post-sales support. With your Italian website rolled out, inquiries will begin to roll in! We will help you deal with them in perfect Italian. Our unique marketing support service can assist not only with excellent translations for sales or contractual purposes. We can provide pro-active advice on possible types of response, according to your goals. Sales inquiries convert into orders while, over time, your costs will fall and your profitability increase.
Your success in working with Italy depends on optimising investments. Lexicon supplies Italian web localization services to clients from manyareas: state agencies, tourist boards, hotels, diplomatic associations, consulates, law firms, small- medium- and large-sized companies.
We cover all needs in Italian web localization:
Pre-project study of your current site if you have one (see also our special introductory offer);
Long-term support with translated templates for day-to-day communications, but also for contracts and other needs.
In all cases, we recommend against using an automatic translation system for key communication areas. Machine Translation (or “MT”) simply converts one language into another using a software dictionary. That type of software can be handy for conveying the gist of text but is not to be confused with professional translation or website localization services. These latter services require the work of professional human translators only. Human translators use what is called Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) software, which allows for good terminology matching and consistency over time, plus other time-saving features. CAT programs are only as good as the translator who uses them, however, and no software is able, on its own, to create professional translations. So, rather than cut a bad figure with an automatically-generated translation, it’s best to not publish anything at all.
