Hello, I’m Lexicon’s chief partner, Alessandra Caberlotto (pronounced “cabber-lotto”!)

I’m head translator and responsible for translation QA.
I want to tell you a little more about quality and how we achieve it.

 

My specific translation/interpreting experience goes back for longer than I care to remember (stemming from a Classics Lyceum of 5 years’ ancient Greek and Latin, before my Masters University degree in English and German). My enthusiasm for achieving quality in translation has certainly never waned. If anything, it has grown, as a better knowledge of matching expectations with service allows me to appraise and optimise each translation assignment. I’m committed to ensuring that Lexicon’s reputation for quality is consistently upheld across a broad range of areas. As part of this, I am constantly on hand to discuss specific translation issues directly with clients. We will have the opportunity to talk together quite early on in our working relationship. But don’t call me too early in the morning – I work rather late in the evenings and so usually come to the office after 10 am!
