developed a long experience in business translation. With Alessandra Caberlotto,
he coordinates the highly-motivated and client-focused Lexicon team.
ALESSANDRA CABERLOTTO
Senior translator, since 1991, specialized in Italian translations in the areas of law, finance, business and media . With a classics liceum diploma and degree in English and German, Alessandra combines her language skills with a thorough knowledge of legal translation, gained from years of serving international law firms.
MARCO FOGLIANI
Marco Fogliani è nato il 29 aprile 1962 a Venezia, ove risiede e svolge la propria attività professionale. Traduttore e consulente linguistico per il settore legale dal 1989, opera prevalentemente nell'ambito della contrattualistica internazionale e della legislazione societaria, collaborando con agenzie di traduzione e studi legali.

As a web designer with a master's degree in Economics and Marketing, Enrico
has cutting-edge web and marketing skills. These skills are a result of research
both at university and after gradutation, with
AicqTV (Italian Triveneto Quality Association). He is specialized in web site Quality and in particular Usability and Marketing on the Web.

Lexicon has strong skills in the field of advertising and copywriting, as well as in website design and localization. The company, with headquarters in Venice, uses only mother tongue translators and interpreters, graduated in different disciplines, and qualified teachers. Lexicon uses an exclusive system for managing its projects: whilst a Project Manager manages the relationship with the clients, identifying the translators best suited to meeting their needs, the Quality Manager will then assist translators to access the resources necessary for an optimal service.

The company partners are Ivor Coward (also Honorary British Consul for Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia) and Alessandra Caberlotto, graduated in English and German at Venice's Ca' Foscari University. From the outset, our quality-oriented philosophy gained the prestigious accounts of some of Italy's household names. Significant technical translation assignments include:
- the technical documentation for the VLT (Very Large Telescope) project, the world's largest optical telescope (1997)
- in advertising/PR, copywriting for websites, press releases, company presentations etc. including the Wimbledon tennis site for Lotto (2003)
- and San Benedetto Mineral Water / Beverages (2003).

The Lexicon in-house team
The in-house team is small but efficient. We manage a large number of translations ourselves plus the verification of every translation that comes back. Our varied backgrounds mean that no matter what the subject area we have always got a specialist on hand to verify the translation before it is ready to send to the client. Attention to detail and accuracy is of paramount importance to us, therefore proofreading and quality control plays a signifcant role in the entire translation process.

We are extremely proud of the service that we provide to our clients, therefore our external translators have to come up to scratch. Having so many translators working for us means we have nearly every subject area covered and therefore can find the right translator with the right knowledge and experience for your translation.
