I'd like to give you my compliments for your EXCELLENT translation of
Dolomites: Journey through an Enchanted Kingdom (ISBN 88-86297-02-5). I picked up a copy yesterday at the Rifugio Auronzo while hiking around the Tre Cime, expecting it to be filled with the usual Italian type of English that we see all too often in the tourist literature, and I was extremely impressed by your rendering of the text, as well as by the brilliant photography and layout. Congratulations on your fine work.

My question: I'm heading to California on Friday for a well-deserved three week vacation and would love to take three more English version copies with me for gifts, to show the whole crop of nieces and nephews more about where I've been living for the last four years. I called the publisher in Cortina to find out how I might get ahold of a copy here in Bolzano (or even in Trento), but it seems that the key person is on vacation this week. The kind woman who answered the phone promised to do some more searching this afternoon, but as time is short, I wondered if you might have any suggestions.
