Light Hunter Publications http://www.lighthunter.it is a company of Cortina d’Ampezzo (Dolomites mountains), belonging to the Zardini family, which has an illustrious name locally. The Zardinis have been photographing this area since the early 1800s and the latest generation’s artist, Stefano Zardini, has moved on to become a reportage and art photographer renowned world-wide. His son Nicola graduated in graphic design in Milan and has led the company with verve and creativity in exciting directions: the publishing of photographic and tourist books and publications and the production of exciting clothing are just some of the creations of the vulcanic Nicola Zardini, ably aided by Erica Majoni and the rest of the team including Lupo the wolf (yes, he’s real!). Lexicon has been serving Light Hunter since the early 90s. From the enormously-successful “Dolomites: Journey Through an Enchanted Kingdom” (Ivor Coward and Aaron Curtiss) currently reprinted in its 5th edition to calendars, post-cards, T-shirts, promotional gadgets of all shapes and kinds, the relationship between Light Hunter and Lexicon has been marked by professional esteem and developed into strong friendship between all the people involved.
